建築デザイナーには世界的に著名なジョン・ロウ氏を迎え、モール全体を明るく開放的な雰囲気で統一します。
Limiting building height to two or three levels from the station's ticket gates, the commercial mall is a hybrid of open and colosed malls, achieving harmony with the low-rise and open townscape of Tama Plaza.
We have invited the world renowned John Low to be the architect in this project, to unify the entire mall in a bright and open atmosphere.

マレーシア生まれ。カリフォルニア大学バークレー校建築学科大学院卒。2000年、パブロ・ラグアルダと協同でラグアルダ・ロウ建築事務所（株式会社LLA）を米国テキサス州ダラス市に設立。2002年、棚町弘志と協同で「ラグアルダ・ロウ・棚町」一級建築事務所（株式会社LLT）を東京に設立。アメリカ建築家協会（AIA)、世界商業施設コンベンション（ICSCおよびMAPIC）などで数多くのデザイン賞を受賞している。なかでも2005年11月、フランス、カンヌで開催されたMAPIC世界商業施設コンベンションにおいて、最優秀デザイン賞6作品の中「たまプラーザ テラス」を含む3作品でデザイン賞を半ば独占的に受賞したことは特筆に値する。
John Low
John Low was born in Malaysia. He graduated from the graduate program of architecture at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2000, Low, jointly with Pablo Laguarda, established Laguarda.Low Architects, LLC. (LLA) in Dallas, Texas in the United States. In 2002, together with Hiroshi Tanamachi, a first-class architect, Low established an affiliated office, Lagarta.Low+Tanamachi (LLT) in Tokyo. Low has received many awards from organaizations and conventions, such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the International Market for Retail Real Estates (MAPIC). Above all, it is noteworthy that he won half of the six best design awards at MAPIC held in Cannes, France in November 2005, for his works that include the Tama Plaza Terrace.
