本計画は、駅を含む社有地および鉄道上部に設ける人工地盤に、新たに低層の商業施設を建設するとともに、駅前広場や駐車場など、駅周辺の都市機能の整備を総合的に実施するものです。大規模リニューアルを行う駅北側の「たまプラーザ東急SC」を加え、東急田園都市線沿線でも有数のショッピングモールがたまプラーザ駅前に誕生します。
全体の開発計画のうち、駅南側のサウスプラザは、スポーツクラブ、ペット関連のショップやサービスなどの複合施設として2007年1月に先行開業。たまプラーザ駅に直結するゲートプラザは、2010年の全体開業を予定しています。
This project calls for the construction of a low-rise commercial facility on our corporate property, which includes the station, and on an artificial foundation to be built over the railroad. It also encompasses the complete organization of urban functions surrounding the station, including the square and parking facilities.
In addition to a major renewal of Tama Plaza Tokyu SC on the north side of the station, one of the leading shopping malls in the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line area will open in front of Tama Plaza Station.
